Freemasons Foundation Victoria grant

MSFIN has been chosen as one of 25 recipients in the Freemasons Foundation Victoria (FFV) Community Grants program. This time we have been supported with funds to provide essential food items to complement our Hamper of Hope initiative (which is currently funded by FFV).

According to Rodney Lavin JP, Chairman, Freemasons Foundation Victoria, it was an honour to announce more than $600,000 in funding for projects that are contributing to a stronger and healthier Victoria.

“Cost of living pressures, barriers to healthcare access, and ongoing devastating flood events are just a few of the troubles many have faced in recent months. Victorian communities will benefit greatly from the work of the inspiring organisations delivering vital services in the current climate and we are proud to contribute to their ongoing work,” he said.

“Freemasons Foundation Victoria recognises your hard work and dedication in delivering these projects, and we are proud to support you to continue to do your great work in the Victorian community.”

Freemasons Foundation Victoria is Trustee of two charities registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission – The Freemasons Public Charitable Foundation and Freemasons Benevolent Fund.

Thanks to the generosity of Victorian Freemasons, past and present, public donors, and their careful investment of those funds, FFV has been making grants each year in support of charities. Since November 2014, FFV has made over 2,700 grants totalling $16.4m. To find out more about FFV, visit: www.freemasonsfoundation.org

With this generous funding support, MSFIN can continue to provide basic essentials to families in crisis. We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation.
