The last few months have been go, go, go at MSFIN with our wonderful warehouse having a major overhaul in its floorplan.
With the professional guidance from the B&R Storage team lead by owner Sean Harris, MSFIN’s warehouse in Seaford has undergone a massive change. Our receiving area now has tons more storage, a much larger sorting bench with dedicated sorting drawers, more shelving for outgoing agency orders, a HUGE purple wall to separate the front from the back, and a fully functional laundry area with new washing machine and dryer (courtesy of OBrien Real Estate Frankston), hanging area and sorting bench.
Further into the warehouse there is now two extra large sorting tables. Down the back is a large and spacious floor area to safety check incoming cots, prams and car seats. Our racking on one side has been swung around to run front to back to create better (and safer) work efficiences and our pantry area is now a little like going to the supermarket with one long aisle and everything within easy reach.
This redesign has been a long time in the planning, designing, implementating but has been definitely worth the wait. Our volunteers now have ample room to work in, our community can easily drop off their gifted items that now get pre-sorted in the receiving area, our agency orders are stacked within easy access and the overall vibe is pretty awesome.
Sean from B&R has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is ‘just right’; from the MSFIN purple on the walls, to the height of the shelves, to the new laundry, to the wider/longer sorting table…from the onset, Sean and his team have been committed to creating the best working/storage space possible.
Everyone at MSFIN is super proud of how the warehouse looks, feels, operates so please pop your nose in next time you visit and see it for yourself…you’ll recognise the purple 🙂
