Items we can accept

Clothing

Donate your gently used or brand new clothing to MSFIN and help support families in need.

From babies to seniors, we accept clothing for everyone. Our commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of our families means that we only accept clothing in fantastic quality condition, free from stains, damage or extreme wear. We also welcome maternity clothing donations.

We accept brand new items only for underwear, socks, and bras.

Footwear

We accept shoes in all sizes for all the family. Shoes need to be in good condition with plenty of wear left for the next owner.

Linen

We accept linen in all sizes. If you can wash, fold and label linen before donating, this makes our process much faster. We cannot accept used pillows or any stained, stretched or damaged linen.

Baby Essentials
We all know that babies need a lot of bits and pieces in their first year. We accept and redistribute the following items: manual breast pumps, slings/carriers, microwave sterilisers, new bottles and teats, bouncers, rockers, nappy bags, play mats and baby baths with a plug.
Food Items

We accept non-perishable in date, unopened and undamaged food. The items we provide in our hampers are as follows; Tea, coffee, canned protein, baked beans, tinned soup, tinned spaghetti, packet soup, baby food, cereal, sweet and savoury biscuits, oats, long life milk, school snacks, pasta, rice, 2 minute noodles, canned fruit, pasta sauce, cordial, simmer sauce, side dishes, tinned tomatoes, desserts and any other sweet treats.

Toiletries

MSFIN support families with essential products like shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, hand wash, hand sanitiser, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, deodorant, shaving needs and sanitary products.

We only accept new, unopened and in-date full-sized items to ensure quality and effectiveness.

Different Ways to Donate Your Things.

There’s a few ways you can get your donated items to MSFIN.

Deliver directly to the MSFIN warehouse at 2/7 Sir Laurence Drive in Seaford. The warehouse is open every weekday (except Wednesdays) from 10am to 3pm with preferred days to accept gifted items being Thursday and Friday.

You can also email us via [email protected] to check if we are able to accept your items.

Make use of our many Drop Off Points that are situated around Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. These wonderful volunteers will allow you to drop off your items to their home and they, in turn, will transport them to our warehouse.

If you only have a small amount to donate you might like to post a parcel to 2/7 Sir Laurence Drive, Seaford 3198.

Did You know?

We can also accept damaged/stained clothing, linen and fabrics? Simply bag these items together and clearly label as “RAGS.” We will then divert this to our fabric recycler. This saves sending clothing to landfill!
