MSFIN has a dedicated team of volunteers who work countless hours sorting, collecting, cleaning, safety checking and packing gifted items for our families in need. They are an integral and invaluable part of the MSFIN family and we are extremely grateful for the generous gift of their time.
Our Board
Donna Cartwright
President
Donna has been a volunteer and Board Member since 2013. She has held numerous positions on the Board, including Board Member and Treasurer, Vice President and her current position of President. Donna is a mother of two, and a local primary school teacher. She has a passion for teaching children, both her own and her students, about the impact of volunteering and the difference people can make in the community through kindness and generosity.
Donna has a Bachelor of Education (Primary, with Distinction), and a Diploma of Business Management. Her work at MSFIN involves financial and operational stability, ensuring the organisation remains a viable and successful enterprise.
Claire Donohue
Vice President
Claire Donohue has over 13 years of Health, Safety and Environmental experience.
Claire has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, with a major in Earth Science, a Diploma of Work Health and Safety, and is a triple certified RABQSA (ISO) Lead Auditor.
Inspired to join MSFIN whilst on maternity leave, Claire supports the team in a safety, compliance and operational capacity. She joined the board in September 2017 and is determined to make a difference in her community.
Deanne Leaver
Secretary
Deanne is an Executive Director at the Victoria Health Building Authority. She has had an extensive career in government leading multi-discipline teams to deliver social infrastructure through community building, capital planning, environmental sustainability, property development, medical equipment renewal and replacement, engineering services, and asset management projects.
Deanne is committed to addressing social inequality, ensuring everyone has access to the essentials they need, as well as lowering carbon emissions by contributing to global efforts to reduce landfill by recycling and repurposing unwanted clothing and goods.
Dr Carly Moulang
Treasurer
Dr Carly Moulang is a researcher in the Monash Business School and holds a PhD in Management Accounting (Monash), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Monash), and is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
Carly has been on the Board of Directors since 2019 and currently has the role of Treasurer for MSFIN.
Lucas Ferrier
Board Member
Lucas is a Senior Manager at The Salvation Army, leading digital transformation of mission enterprises.
With 12 years professional experience, Lucas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University, a Specialist Certificate in Executive Leadership from Melbourne Business School and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Monash Business School.
Driven by a passion for creating positive social and environmental impact, Lucas brings experience across NFP and private sectors to support and drive the mission of MSFIN.
