They came, they painted, they sorted, they laughed, they were a whirlwind of good humour, fellowship, teamwork and MSFIN was simply blown away by their generosity of spirit and time.
Back in July over 40 people from Glow Church Melbourne visited MSFIN to participate in a volunteer working bee as part of their Serve Day.
They arrived at 9am and spent the next three hours buzzing around sorting through gifted items, doing pram checks, assembling cots, gardening, and moving shelving…they even painted office walls in our fabulous purple.
Not only did they gift their time, they came armed with bundles of toiletries, nappies, food, toys and clothing…then topped it all off with a $1000 cash donation.
To say we are grateful is an understatement. They went above and beyond and it was all done with a smile on their faces and with open arms and hearts.
